Luther League

The St. Paul Luther League is advised by Joell Bieber and Michelle Oxner.  The group consists of students grades 7-12.  There are currently 18 members.

The youth group contributes throughout the church.  Each year they sponsor soup suppers during the Lenten season, serving from 5:30 to 6:45 each Wednesday.

The Luther League has sponsored concerts by Peder Eide, provided the greenery and wreath for Christmas, help support the Bowdle Food Pantry, and helped everytime asked.   They help with VBS, Sunday School, loading the quilts, etc.  The Luther League purchased the refrigerator for the church and contributed  to the parsonage remodeling and church siding projects.

Over the years, the Easter breakfast and Easter Service were responsibilities of the group.

The annual wreath sales throughout the community provide the main fund raising for the group.  The group has held lock-ins at the church and had group outings to Aberdeen.  They have used those funds to go to Twin Cities at times.  Previously the groups had been able to participate in the national youth gatherings.

Outings and activities also include their annual pumpkin carving and Christmas ornament decorating for the nursing home and shut-ins.
